Food for all

After my bariatric surgery, my goal is to find the best, low carb, healthy recipes (and restaurants) to continue my journey. I'll be cooking with my daughter to find more recipes to not only keep me on my weight loss program but to teach her how healthy food can still taste great!

I also combed through hundreds of Bariatric websites and Bariatric program websites to compile a thorough list of food options for the 4 stages of post-op food options. If you have questions about your particular plan, please contact your team.

The recipe section is for everyone. Bariatric patients will be able to search for good recipes for every stage. I'll also have healthy, low carb - but TASTY recipes as I journey through my new life. You'll find dishes that my daughter and I have cooked together as we start to learn about new foods! I've always been a somewhat picky eater. I HATED fish and seafood, but only tried a few things. Now, with my new stomach, I am striving to learn and eat new things. If I don't, how will my daughter learn about different foods. I don't want her to stick with grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, and ramen. She does like other food, but those are her go-to choices a few times a week. So, watch out -we'll be starting a FB podcast/group. We're going to start a youtube channel. We hope you enjoy the journey with us!
